Nutmeg Stripe 8oz Handloom Denim - NZ$14.25 per 1/4m

A unusual handloom cloth in a warm milky brown twill with bands of white and indigo running parallel to the selvedge.

Suitable for trousers, dungarees and jackets.

NZ$57 per meter, sold in 1/4m increments.

Composition & maintenance:

• 94cm wide.
• 100% cotton.
• 8oz, 270gsm.
• Allow for 3% shrinkage when washing.
• The stripe runs parallel to the selvedge.
• Country of origin; India.
• These Indian cloths are handmade, sometimes susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.
• For the first couple of washes, place the fabric in the washing machine drum with a handful of table salt. This will help fix the dye to prevent it running.
• Wash at 30 or 40 degrees with a non bio detergent. Do not tumble dry.
